Tral, Pulwama, January 7: In a proud moment for Khelo India Thang-Ta Center Bajwani Tral, five students from the center have excelled at the Thangta Senior National Championship held in Haridwar, Uttrakhand, from January 4-6, 2025.
The talented students, who were trained under the expert guidance of Coach Sajad Ahmad Dar, brought home an impressive haul of medals. Uzain Riyaz secured the top spot with a Gold medal, while Arjumand Majeed claimed a Silver medal. Jasveen Kour, Murtaza Shafi, and Shaista Mohi ud din all won Bronze medals, showcasing their exceptional skills in the sport.
The students were overjoyed with their achievement and expressed their gratitude to their coach, Sajad Ahmad Dar, for his tireless efforts in training them. They also thanked the J&K Sports Council for their support (Press Release).
