Srinagar: The Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS), in collaboration with Core ISPD Mind Academy, successfully organized a unique and thought-provoking one-day workshop on Blind Reading Techniques today on 24th June, 2025 at the VMS Auditorium. The workshop was specially designed for individuals with non-congenital visual impairment.

The session introduced participants to subliminal and sublingual sensory processing through a series of blindfold-based exercises. These activities demonstrated how the brain can engage non-visual pathways for perception and learning. One of the most captivating moments was a live demonstration in which participants—while blindfolded—were able to accurately identify and differentiate colors, leaving the audience both astonished and inspired.
