PDP Releases Its Manifesto For Assembly Elections

PDP on Saturday released its manifesto for the Assembly elections, promising to pursue the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood.

It also promised to advocate for diplomatic initiatives between India and Pakistan, and establish full connectivity across the Line of Control (LoC) for trade and social exchange.

“We want to say that we will give free electricity up to 200 units, we want to abolish tax on water, there should be no meters for water. For the poor who have 1 to 6 people in their house, we want to implement the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed scheme again because the rice and ration they get is not enough, so we will give 12 cylinders a year to the poor… We will double social security like old age pension, widow pension etc….”( Mehbooba Mufti)
