District Administration Ganderbal Organizes ‘Run for Unity’ on National Unity Day

Ganderbal,:To commemorate National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas), the District Administration of Ganderbal organized a ‘Run for Unity,’ promoting national integrity and harmony. Starting at Qamaria Ground and ending at the Mini Secretariat, the event attracted participants from various sectors, including students, government officials, and local youth.

Deputy Commissioner Shyambir, accompanied by SSP Ganderbal Wasim Qadri, ADDC Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, ADC Gulzar Ahmad, and other officials, led the run and administered the Rashtriya Ekta pledge to participants. The pledge underscored the district’s commitment to unity, peace, and the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Addressing the crowd, DC Shyambir praised the enthusiasm of participants, stating, “Events like the ‘Run for Unity’ are crucial in strengthening our collective resolve for a harmonious and inclusive society.”

The administration expressed gratitude to everyone involved for their dedication to the cause of national unity.
