Three houses gutted in fire mishap in Kulgam village, 3 Injured

Kulgam, Dec 24: Three residential house were damaged after a fire broke out at Nowbugh area of Kund belt in south kashmiri’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.

An official told that the fire engulfed in a residential house belonging to Mohd  Rafiq Naikoo, Mohd Akram Naikoo, Showkat Ahmad Sheikh and Gull mohd sheikh of Nowbugh Kund. and caused significant damage to its roofing, ceilings, windows, and doors.

“Timely intervention of firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent localities”, he said.

The official said three persons were injured in the incident, while cause of fire being ascertained.
