Local people said that the machine developed some snag before some weeks ago, and the administration decided to stop its services, because it needs repair from the experts, however, officials at district hospital are not paying any attention towards it, resulting the patients to suffer.

“Many attendants could be seen carrying their patients to the private x-ray labs outside the hospital. An attendant questioned what the fun of having the district hospital was if it lacked basic amenities like X-rays.

Medical Superintendent district hospital Kulgam Dr A G Raina confirmed that X-ray machine at the hospital is defunct, adding “we are getting the latest DR Technology X-ray machine that will replace the defunt one.” I hope the new machine will be brought within 2 weeks in the hospital”, he said.
