Ganderbal Police destroys huge quantity of seized contraband and psychotropic substances worth 15.85 lacs

Ganderbal: Under the special fortnight drive ordered by the Ministry of Home affairs in view of the “Drug Destruction Campaign Week”, District Police Ganderbal conducted a mass disposal drive of the seized drugs. The District Level ‘Drug Disposal Committee, Ganderbal’ under the directions of SSP Ganderbal, destroyed huge quantity of the seized drugs and psychotropic substances.

The contraband and psychotropic substances that were seized in 14 Cases of district Ganderbal were disposed off, after obtaining proper permission from the competent court, through incineration method at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora. The cumulative worth of the drugs destroyed amounts to Rs.15,85,000 (approx).
