Border Area Youth Exchange Programme: Students from Five States Visit Tangdhar and Tithwal

Karnah: In a remarkable initiative fostering national integration and awareness, 25 students from five states visited Tangdhar and Tithwal as part of the Border Area Youth Exchange Programme, organized by Nehru Yuva Kalyan Sansthan, Kupwara. The visit offered the young participants an immersive experience, blending history, culture, and the spirit of resilience.

The contingent explored the Azmat-e-Hind Memorial, a tribute to India’s military legacy, and paid homage at the sacred Sharda Devi Temple, an enduring symbol of cultural and spiritual heritage. They gained profound insights into the region’s rich military history, marked by the valour and supreme sacrifice of the Armed Forces in multiple wars and battles. The visit also highlighted the cultural unity and indomitable spirit of the people of Karnah.
