Baramulla, May 7: In a moment of immense pride for Jammu and Kashmir, Sapna Bashir, a resident of Nihalpora village in Pattan, Baramulla district, has secured an impressive All India Rank 24 in the prestigious NORCET-8 examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi.
The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) is one of the most competitive exams in the country for recruitment to nursing positions across AIIMS institutions. Sapna’s exceptional result places her among the top contenders nationwide, marking a significant milestone for the region.
Daughter of Bashir Ahmad, Sapna’s success is a result of relentless hard work, unwavering determination, and a strong desire to contribute to the healthcare sector. Speaking to reporters, she credited her achievement to her support system.
“This achievement is not mine alone. It belongs to my parents, my teachers, and everyone who believed in me. I hope to inspire more girls from Kashmir to chase their dreams fearlessly,” she said.
Her family, overwhelmed with joy, expressed their disbelief and pride. “We knew she was working hard, but seeing Rank 24 was a moment we will never forget,” said a family member, holding back tears of happiness.
