Police destroys Wild Cannabis in Awantipora

Awantipora, July 10: Police in collaboration with Excise Department, Agriculture Department and Revenue department launches joint anti-Cannabis drive and destroyed Wild Cannabis in Jurisdiction of Police District Awantipora.

A Police Party headed by Incharge Police Post Reshipora under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora alongwith officers of Excise, Revenue and Agriculture Departments launched a special drive against cannabis and destroyed Wild Cannabis spread over approximately 10 Kanals along the banks of River Jhelum in Reshipora. The operation witnessed the active involvement of civil society members who worked together to clear substantial patches of wild cannabis from the riverbanks.
