DC Kishtwar disburses compensation to 5 families of Road Accident Victims

KISHTWAR, JULY 10: In a considerate gesture to ease the hardship of grieving families, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed a total of Rs. 4.5 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on the cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar, Tasleem Wani.

An amount of Rs. 1 lakh each was disbursed to the legal heirs of four deceased victims of road accidents & Rs 50,000 to a grievously injured patient.

This distribution marks an essential step in providing financial assistance and acknowledging the distress faced by the families of road accident victims.
