Tral 21 July:- In a commendable initiative aimed at empowering local women and promoting self-reliance, the 180 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a Sewing Training Programme under the Civic Action Programme in Tral area of South Kashmir.

The training programme, which saw active participation from local women, is part of the CRPF’s continuous efforts to strengthen community ties and support skill development among the youth and women of the region. The initiative was well received by the participants who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn a valuable livelihood skill.

Speaking on the occasion, CO 180Bn CRPF highlighted the importance of such training programmes in uplifting economically weaker sections and creating avenues for self-employment. They reaffirmed the commitment of CRPF to serve the people not just in maintaining security, but also in contributing positively to societal development.
