Dr. Harbaksh Singh Visits Govt Schools, Distributes Educational Kits to Meritorious Students

Pulwama: Dr. Harbaksh Singh, Founder President of Amrit Charitable Trust and Chairman Standing Committee for Health and Education, District Pulwama, visited Government Boys Middle School Namblibal Pampore and Government Primary School Lethpora on Thursday. On this occasion, Dr. Singh distributed school bags and stationery kits among meritorious and deserving students.

Dr. Singh lauded the commendable performance of students and staff at both schools, particularly in light of the infrastructural challenges they face. He assured that, in his capacity as Chairman, urgent steps will be taken to address the deficiencies and improve the learning environment.

Dr. Singh expressed sincere gratitude to the Kochhar Foundation for consistently supporting by providing school bags each year,/ digital class rooms and also thanked the Kalyan Trust for providing stationery kits last year. He also announced that similar support will continue in the coming days, with school bags to be distributed to more deserving and meritorious students.

As part of its ongoing educational initiatives, Amrit Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Kochhar Foundation, has so far established two digital classrooms—one at High School Khaleel and another at High School Rathsuna. Another digital classroom is planned for this year. Dr. Singh emphasized that one new digital classroom will be provided every year in the Tral area, as long as the need exists.

The event was also graced by the presence of DDC Member Kakapora Ab Qayoom Mir, Principal Girls Higher Secondary School Pampore, Vice Principal Government Higher Secondary Pampore, Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Pampore, and the President of the Teachers Forum, Zone Pampore, who extended their support and appreciation for the initiative.
