Srinagar – Voluntary Medicare Society (VMS), in collaboration with EnAble India under the nationwide #SeeAMillion initiative, successfully concluded a three-month Computer Training Course for visually impaired individuals at its VMS campus in Bemina, Srinagar on 31st July.

The course was specially designed for students and working professionals with vision impairment, equipping them with essential digital skills to enhance their education and employment opportunities. The training focused on enabling participants to independently operate computers using Microsoft Office, access the internet, and navigate using the NVDA screen reader. In addition to digital literacy, the program also introduced basic mobility, note-taking, life skills, and English communication—ensuring a holistic development approach.
