Srinagar, 12 August 2025: Doon Interschool Basketball Tournament concluded in grand style on Tuesday, 12th August 2025, with the final matches attracting an enthusiastic crowd. The event was graced by Mr. Balbir Singh Sodhi, Joint Director, Youth Service and Sports J&K; Mr. Ashraf Dijoo, International Roller Skating Coach; and other distinguished dignitaries, adding prestige to the occasion.
The day began with the Girls’ Final, where DPS Srinagar battled Mallinson Girls School in a gripping contest marked by exceptional teamwork, solid defense, and unwavering determination. DPS Srinagar Girls emerged victorious, proudly lifting the championship trophy.
In the Boys’ Final, Dolphin faced Birla Open Minds Pampore in an intense and closely fought encounter. In the decisive moments, Birla Open Minds Pampore pulled ahead to claim the coveted title in their category.
The closing ceremony featured electrifying performances by the talented students of Doon School Srinagar, captivating the audience with their creativity and energy.
