Ganderbal, Nov 26(SM): In a swift intervention that averted a potential tragedy, Ganderbal Police on Wednesday rescued a young girl found in distress at the Duderhama Bridge.

According to officials, a police team from Police Station Ganderbal rushed to the spot after receiving information from local residents who noticed the girl’s alarming condition on the bridge. Acting promptly, the officers intervened and safely rescued her before any harm could occur. She was later handed over to her family members.

Senior police officers praised the alertness and timely action of the personnel involved, noting that the response exemplifies the force’s commitment to public safety.
