IUST bags five medals in the 3rd Chancellor’s Tournament

Awantipora January 21:- In the State Level Tournament organized by the University of Jammu which saw participation of nineteen institutions across the North Zone, IUST’s contingent bagged five silver medals in the Table Tennis Category.

Congratulating the participants Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo said that IUST places immense importance on the extra-curricular activities adding that IUST has the disntinction of creditizing extra-curricular activities thereby incentivizing student’s participation.

He also added that the university has framed a sports action plan catering to setting up of standard infrastructure besides envisaging engagement of Nationally and Internationally recognized sports persons as Professors of Practice.
