Tral, May 21: Under its ongoing outreach initiative, the 130 and 180 Battalions of the CRPF, in collaboration with Kashmir Medical College, organized a mega free medical camp in the Nanar area of Sub-District Tral on Thursday, witnessing participation from a large number of locals.
The camp was aimed at providing essential healthcare services to people living in far-off and underserved areas. A team of specialist doctors facilitated by Kashmir Medical College Srinagar, besides CRPF medical team examined a large number of patients and provided free medical consultation and treatment.
Free medicines were also distributed among the patients to ensure that economically weaker sections of society could benefit from the initiative.
A Commanding Officer of the CRPF thanked the Kashmir Medical College for extending support by deputing specialist doctors for the camps being organized under the banner of CRPF 130 and 180 Battalions.
