Kupwara, July 11: In a humanitarian outreach Indian Army Kupwara Terriers and Hamdard-e-Kupwara Battalion of the Indian Army in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services organised a Joint Medical Camp at Kunan Poshpora village of Kupwara District.
The camp saw an overwhelming response from locals, with hundreds of beneficiaries availing free medical consultations, health screenings, and essential medicines. A team of Army and Health Department doctors examined patients, provided treatment for common ailments and spread awareness on preventive healthcare and hygiene.
Aimed at delivering quality healthcare to far-flung areas with limited medical facilities, the initiative was widely appreciated by villagers. Residents thanked the Army and Health Department for bringing timely medical aid to their doorsteps and requested more such camps in remote areas.
The joint effort reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment, along with civil administration, to public welfare and improved healthcare access in the region.
