BARAMULLA, AUGUST 27: In an effort to boost voter turnout for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir, a major SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) Rally was held in Uri today.
Javaid Ahmad, Returning Officer (RO) for the 09-Uri Assembly Constituency, Nodal Officer for SVEEP Baramulla and other officers, who participated in the rally, enthusiastically marched along with the new voters, spreading voter awareness.
The rally passed through the Uri town, witnessing enthusiastic participation from hundreds of new voters, who carried banners and placards promoting voter awareness and encouraging maximum voter turnout in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the rally, Javaid Ahmad emphasized the vital role that new voters play in the democratic process highlighting the collective responsibility to exercise this right with care and accountability.
