43 Special Polling Stations established in Kupwara district to attract voters, enhance electoral participation

KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 29:

With an aim to attract maximum number of voters and make electoral process pleasant and enriching, District Election Ofice Kupwara on the instructions of ECI has established 43 Special Polling Stations of different categories for voters across Kupwara district which is going to votes on Oct 01.
This is considered to be significant initiative aimed at promoting inclusivity and encouraging women, Youth and PwD participation in the assembly elections.
These innovative polling stations, women managed, youth managed, PwD managed, Green Polling Stations, Model Polling Stations, Unique Polling Stations and beyond the fense polling stations are designed to cater specifically to women, youth, Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), promote eco-friendly practices, ensure inclusive and accessible elections and to cater voters of different kinds in the region.
These polling stations have been established with specific colour coding and specific themes aim to revolutionize the electoral process by ensuring accessibility and representation for all segments of society.
Pink Polling stations identified include 30- Kandi Payeen A, 49-Trehgam B, 79-Bohipora, 62-Soam-C, 118-Khunl, 34-Chotipora.
PwD manned polling Stations include, 40- Gundi Sharth, 69- Gushi-A, 77-Kupwara D , 69-Lalpora G, 79- Bohipora.
Youth manned polling stations include 
2-Kadhama, 42-Heri Payeen,76-Kupwara-C,14 –Doniwari,117-Machipora, 57-Langate- D.
Green Polling Stations include 37-Teetwal, 31- Dard Harie, 86-Mughalpora A,84- Margi Diver A,102- Wadipora A, 141-Monbal.
Modal polling stations include 24-Tangdar, 42-Heri payeen, 75- Kupwara, 78-Chandgam- B, 99-Handara, 84-Kandi,

Unique polling station are established at 1-Seemari, 7-keran,1-Khumkadi,1-Hardring Bala, Hangnikoot ,80- Mankal.

1-seemari, 71-Amrohee –A,72- Amrohee- B , 73- Sudhpora, 77- Jabdi, 1-Boore and 5- Keranhave been established beyond the fence.
With a special focus on women, youth, and PWD, these stations have been equipped with amenities tailored to meet their unique needs, fostering an environment for active participation in the democratic process.
