During the drive Micro Awareness Programmes were also conducted. A slogan was adopted “WE HONOUR VALID PRESCRIPTIONS ONLY” which is to be pasted in the form of a sticker in a prominent place in the medical shops.

The Drugs Control Department’s efforts are aligned with NCORD directions, special reference to CCTV, CBS Compliance and regulated sales of drugs having addictive and abuse potential with the larger goal of addressing concerns around rising drug addiction in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in rural areas.
