DySP Traffic Kulgam holds meeting with transporters, other stakeholders to prevent accidents

Urges parents not allow minors to drive; Warned for strict action if anyone found without driving licence

Qazigund, Dec 8: In order to emphasize the importance and adherence on following the traffic rules, Kulgam Traffic Police held a meeting at Qazigund on Sunday.

An official told that the meeting was chaired by DySP traffic Kulgam, Mohd Aslam which was attended by DTI Traffic Qazigund, Lalit Sharma in which All Sumo/Tavera Stands, Vans/Auto  Mini Bus / Buses Stands Incharges from whole district Kulgam, Qazigund belt participated.

He said awareness were goven regarding Traffic Rules and importance to implement these Rules to Curtail the Traffic accidents and loss of Lives. Special priority given to not allow Minors to Drive Bikes and Four Wheelers. Warning for all minors and their parents to desist from this practice.

“All Briefed to Adhere Traffic Rules in their daily life. Participants also conveyed to avoid Rash Driving and obey Traffic Rules to avoid Traffic accidents and saves precious Lives of General Public . Role of passengers also shared with all. All Participants assured for Full Cooperation to make Accident Free Society . All appreciated efforts of Traffic Police for these Awareness Camps,” he said.
