Stranded Tourists Praise Gund Ganderbal Residents for Life-Saving Hospitality

Ganderbal: In a heartwarming display of appreciation, a group of stranded tourists has expressed their deepest gratitude to the residents of Gund, who selflessly provided them with shelter, food, and warmth during the recent snowfall.

The tourists, who were stuck in the Srinagar-Leh highway due to the closure of the road following heavy snowfall, were taken in by the residents of Gund, who opened their homes and hearts to them.

In an emotional outpouring, one of the tourists said, “We have a new life because of you. You people came as God for us. We are safe because of you people.”

The tourists, who were initially hesitant to accept the residents’ help, were eventually won over by their kindness and generosity. “We were strangers, but they treated us like family,” said another tourist. “They provided us with everything we needed, from food to shelter to medical aid.”

The residents of Gund, who are known for their warm hospitality, were quick to respond to the tourists’ plight. “We just did what any human being would do in such a situation, We are glad that we could help our guests in need,” said Mehraj Ud Din Khan, a local resident.

As the tourists prepare to leave Gund and resume their journey, they will carry with them memories of the kindness and generosity of the people of Gund, who gave them a new lease on life.

“We will never forget the kindness and hospitality of the people of Gund,” said one of the tourists. “They have shown us that even in the most challenging times, humanity and compassion can prevail.”

The humanity has once again highlighted the importance of community and humanity in times of crisis. The tourists’ heartfelt gratitude has brought joy and pride to the residents of Gund, who have reaffirmed their reputation as being among the most hospitable people in the world.
