Awantipora, 05 January: Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested drug peddlers from Pampore area.
During naka Checking at literbal Pampore near gas plant, Police party of Police Station Pampore under the supervision of SDPO Pampore arrested 02 drug peddlers identified as:
1. Tariq Ahmad Mir S/o Abdul Salam R/o Tulbagh Pampore.
2. Javid Ahmad Dar S/o Mohd Akram Dar R/o Lalpora Chatlam.
The arrested persons were moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 840 grams of grinded Cannabis like substance was recovered from their possession.
Case FIR No. 3/2025 under relevant section of NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Pampore (Press Release).
