Birla Open Minds International School Pampore Celebrates International Yoga Day

Pampore, June 21: Birla Open Minds International School, Pampore celebrated International Yoga Day, which was attended by the students and the staff members of the school.

The school campus came alive with the vibrant energy of young students performing various yoga asanas with precision and grace. Speaking on the occasion, a school official highlighted the significance of the day: “Today on International Yoga Day, Birla Open Minds International School, Pampore has also taken this initiative, and our young children are doing very good yoga asanas here. As you can see, the children are doing it wonderfully, and the level of yoga that we usually witness internationally was also seen here through the efforts of our students.”

The event was not only a celebration of yoga but also an acknowledgment of the government’s initiative to popularize Yoga Day worldwide. “We want to congratulate the government on taking such a significant step to promote International Yoga Day and celebrate it globally,” the official added.

Beyond yoga, the school is making commendable efforts to ensure a balanced education that includes both academics and sports. “We are actively working to blend scholastic and co-scholastic learning, as recommended by the CBSE curriculum. Recently, we organized the BML Cricket Tournament, which was highly successful and is currently awaiting its final match,” the official shared.
