National Youth Day Celebrated at Sudhpora Tangdhar

Kupwara: Amid an impressive gathering, National Youth Day was celebrated by the 104 Infantry Brigade in the Sudhpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official spokesman said that National Youth Day is observed on 12th January to celebrate an essential reminder of the pivotal role that youth plays in shaping the future of India.

The spokesperson said that the aim of the event is to motivate young individuals to build and shape the future of the nation.

“On the occasion of the World Youth Day, a programme was organised by SARI Battalion under the aegis of 104 Infantry Brigade to motivate and empower the youth of the local area Rear Sudhpora,” the spokesperson said.

He said that to motivate the youth of the area and promote harmony a friendly volleyball match was conducted.

He informed that a total of 25 civilians and officials witnessed the event which was followed by refreshments for all the individuals.

He further saud that the complete event received an overwhelming response and appreciation from the locals.
