A Pioneer in Kashmiri Healthcare

Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital holds the distinction of being the first corporate hospital in the Kashmir valley. Officially inaugurated on August 5, 2022, by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Sh. Manoj Sinha, the hospital has set a benchmark for quality healthcare in the region.

As a fully NABH-accredited institution, the hospital adheres to rigorous quality and safety standards, ensuring that patients receive care on par with the highest national standards. Its specialties include advanced surgical procedures, diagnostic services, and state-of-the-art treatment facilities.

Commitment to Accessibility and Affordability

Speaking on the hospital’s vision, Dr. Pervez Sofi, Managing Director of Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital, emphasized the commitment to providing seamless access to healthcare. With a focus on cashless and hassle-free treatment, the hospital is empaneled with key healthcare programs such as Ayushman Bharat, CGHS, ECHS, and ESIC. This empanelment allows patients from all walks of life to receive quality treatment without financial barriers.

“Our goal is to ensure that no patient in Kashmir is deprived of world-class healthcare due to affordability issues,” Dr. Sofi stated, underlining the hospital’s dedication to the well-being of the community.

A Beacon of Progress in Kashmir

The visit by the Singaporean delegation and the hospital’s growing reputation underline the transformative role Ujala Cygnus is playing in the healthcare sector. By combining modern medical practices with an emphasis on patient-centered care, the hospital is not just improving lives but also serving as a model for other healthcare institutions to emulate.

This event further demonstrates Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital’s growing significance as a hub of healthcare excellence and its ability to inspire global organizations to learn from its approach to community-driven healthcare.
