Newly Appointed CEOs and DIET Principals Congratulated by Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum

Srinagar, February 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) has extended its warmest congratulations to the newly appointed Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and DIET Principals across the Union Territory. The appointments are seen as a significant step towards improving the educational system and administrative efficiency in schools.

In a press release issued by the Chairman of JKTF, Showkat Ali Beig, he commended the elevation of several education leaders, specifically mentioning the following new CEOs:

  • Mr. Bashir Ahmad Shah – CEO, District Anantnag

  • Mr. Mehrajudin Shah – CEO, District Kupwara

The Chairman also expressed the Forum’s gratitude to the government for promoting 21 principals, which aligns with a long-standing demand to boost the administrative structure within the education system. Beig highlighted that the elevation would significantly reduce the workload, enhance academic standards, and improve the smooth functioning of educational institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.

The JKTF believes these changes will strengthen the leadership in both schools and educational offices, fostering better governance and creating a more student-friendly learning environment.

The JKTF reiterated its commitment to supporting all initiatives that benefit teachers, students, and the overall education system in Jammu and Kashmir.
