Kupwara: A massive forest fire broke out this afternoon in compartments No. 7 and 8 LB of Awoora, Kupwara.
Reports indicate that the fire ignited approximately an hour ago in compartment number 7 & 8 in Zurhama and Muqam Zurhama, prompting an immediate response from the Forest Department with Officials are actively working to control the blaze and prevent its further spread.
The situation remains ongoing, with efforts concentrated on containing the fire and minimizing damage.
