Srinagar, April 30: In a heartfelt tribute to decades of dedicated service, Assistant Engineer Mohammed Shafi Sheikh of the Irrigation & Flood Control Department was honoured during a farewell ceremony ahead of his retirement on April 30, 2025.

The modest yet dignified event, held at Ahmad ki Baithak Wazwan in Solina, Srinagar, saw the presence of Superintending Engineer Zaffar Mustafa Khan and Assistant Executive Engineer Nusrat Habib Shah, among colleagues, contractors, and well-wishers. The gathering celebrated Sheikh’s unwavering commitment and significant contributions to critical projects under the PHE (Jal Shakti) and Irrigation departments.

Addressing the attendees, Er. Zaffar Mustafa Khan and Er. Nusrat Habib Shah praised Sheikh’s exemplary service, lauding his leadership, professionalism, and technical expertise. They highlighted his role in shaping key infrastructure initiatives and commended the legacy he leaves behind.
