Ganderbal, May 23: Former District President of BJP Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, has expressed deep concern over financial distress due to long-pending wages of daily wagers,casual labourers,need bases Workers,contractual employees, Anganwadi workers, old age pensioners, and the delayed payments of contractors. He urged the Jammu and Kashmir UT government to take immediate action to address these financial grievances.
Shah highlighted that thousands of workers and pensioners are facing severe economic hardships due to prolonged delays in their payments. “These hardworking individuals are struggling to meet their daily needs. The LG of Jammu &Kashmir and the state government must take urgent steps to ensure that their dues are cleared at the earliest,” he stated.
He also pointed out that contractors who have completed government projects are still awaiting their payments, which is further adding to the financial distress in the region. “Pending bills and unpaid wages are not just affecting individuals but also hampering overall economic activity. The UT administration must prioritize resolving these issues to provide much-needed relief to the people,” he added.
Shah appealed to the authorities to expedite the disbursement of wages and payments to ease the burden on affected families. He reiterated his commitment to raising the concerns of the people and urged the government to implement swift measures to mitigate their financial stress.
