Registrations for Epic Victory Cricket League in Kashmir opens up more slots for upcoming trials

Srinagar, 4th June 2025: The registrations for the trials for the upcoming have been met with overwhelming response from the locals of Srinagar other cities. Due to this overwhelming response, the management has decided to open up more slots on the days of the trials and are open to new registrations.

Slated on the 28th of June, the trials at Doon International School, Srinagar are a unique opportunity for local heroes to participate in the upcoming inaugural season of the Epic Victory Cricket League. Launched in Kashmir, earlier this year, the EVCL presents local talent the chance to make their mark and showcase their talent amongst local, Indian and International cricketers.

“EVCL will provide a much-needed platform for young players not only in Jammu and Kashmir but also from states like Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. The league will have a mix of emerging talents and experienced domestic players, providing an opportunity for learning and guidance. It is not just a tournament; it will be a platform to change lives and I urge all the young cricketers of Jammu & Kashmir to participate in huge numbers in the trials.” Said Mr. Praveen Kumar, League Commissioner, EVCL.

The eligibility for these trials are simply any male cricketers from the ages of 14 to 39 which will showcase their talent under the watchful eyes of a selection committee consisting of selectors from the state cricketing associations and the apex council of the EVCL. Registrations are live on www.evcl.co.in and complete information will be provided on the website.

The league is set to broadcast on one of the leading OTT platform with coverage in over 7 languages that will include English, Hindi and in a first of its kind, Kashmiri and Dogra to include the vast population of the region that would enjoy cricketing action in their own language for the first time ever.
