Bandipora Gets Green Signal for Two Vital Road Projects

BANDIPORA,19 JUNE 2025: MLA Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat has once again demonstrated his commitment to rural development by securing government approval for the restoration and renewal coat of macadamization of two key roads under the C&T (Renewal Coat Action Plan 2025–26), as part of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

The Chunttimulla to Kudara road has been approved at an estimated cost of ₹275 lakh, while the C.A. Khan to Gamroo road — connecting the Arin-Nadihal road with the main road — has been approved at a cost of ₹47.70 lakh.

These projects, which had remained pending for many years, were first pursued by Nizamuddin Bhat during his earlier tenure as MLA from 2008 to 2014.With the latest approval, long-standing demand of the residents of these areas has finally been fulfilled,turning a long-cherished dream into reality.

The approval has brought a sense of relief and happiness among locals,who are now hopeful for better roads, easier travel and smoother daily life in the near future.
