In Ganderbal town, food safety squads confiscated around 80 kilograms of rotten mutton, kebabs, and rista from several local eateries as part of a coordinated enforcement effort.

A senior official from the Food Safety Department told Srinagar Mail that all food business operators in the district have been issued strict warnings. He added that surprise inspections will continue in the coming days, and violators will be booked under relevant sections of the Food Safety and Standards Act (FSSAI).
