Pensioners United Front & Civil Society Forum Holds Key Meeting in Tral; Upcoming Events Announced

Tral, August 22, 2025 (Press Release)– A significant meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners United Front and Civil Society Forum was held today at Dilnag, Tral under the chairmanship of District President Pulwama, Haji Manzoor Ahmed Rather. The meeting witnessed an impressive turnout, with a large number of members from across the region participating.

During the session, members were briefed about an upcoming mega meeting scheduled for August 25, which will be organized under the leadership of the Chairman of the J&K Pensioners United Front and Civil Society Forum, Mr. Abdul Qayoom Wani. All pensioners and members of the civil society have been urged to attend the event in large numbers to show unity and strength.

Furthermore, it was announced that Mr. Farooq Ahmad Trali, a prominent leader of the forum, will be holding a follow-up meeting on August 31 at the Town Hall, Tral. In this regard, he has extended a formal invitation to District President Haji Manzoor Ahmed Rather and called upon all pensioners and civil society members to ensure their active participation.

The series of meetings aim to strengthen the collective voice of pensioners and reinforce civil society engagement across Jammu and Kashmir.
