Tral, September 6: District Development Council (DDC) Member from Tral and Apni Party leader, Dr. Harbakash Singh, met with renowned physician, author, and social worker Dr. Nisar Ahmad Tral at the Ikhlas Welfare Trust – a local organization committed to providing Education (Particularly Islamic Education) to a large number of children in the area, and medical support for the needy, including orphans and widows.
During the meeting, Dr. Harbakash Singh appreciated Dr. Nisar Ahmad’s tireless efforts in the field of education and community service through his trust. He commended the work being done to uplift underprivileged children by offering them access to religious and moral education.
The duo also discussed Dr. Nisar Ahmad’s recently published book “Ainah Tral”, which showcases the untapped and picturesque tourist destinations of Tral. Dr. Harbakash Singh expressed keen interest in the book and pledged his support to promote these tourist spots in collaboration with Dr. Nisar Ahmad.
Highlighting the need for integrated development in the area, Dr. Harbakash Singh announced that a dedicated welfare committee will soon be established. “The committee will focus on the development of key sectors including education, healthcare, and tourism, aiming to bring long-term benefits to the residents of Tral.”
