Pulwama, Sep 21: The much-awaited final of the Volleyball Tournament organized by 42 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) was held today at Bajwani Sports Stadium, Tral, where Royals Volleyball Club Srinagar clinched the title by defeating Outlaws Volleyball Club in a thrilling contest.
The grand finale witnessed the presence of CO 42RR, DySP Tral, and CO CRPF, who encouraged the players and appreciated the enthusiasm of the local youth.
The tournament, which had seen participation from 22 teams across the region, attracted massive local interest and support. The atmosphere during the final remained electrifying, with both teams showcasing exceptional sporting skills, teamwork, and determination.
In the end, Royals Volleyball Club Srinagar emerged dominant, lifting the championship trophy to the delight of their supporters.
Officials of 42RR highlighted that the event was part of their ongoing efforts to promote sports, encourage youth participation in positive activities, and strengthen bonds with the community.
