Pipping Ceremony held at DPO Awantipora

Awantipora: A pipping ceremony was held at DPO Awantipora, to honour the recently promoted two Deputy Superintendents of Police namely shri Atif Zahoor-JKPS and Shri Shravan Singh-JKPS who have successfully completed their probationary period and assumed new responsibilities.

While congratulating the officers, SSP Awantipora lauded their dedication, discipline, and commitment towards policing. He emphasized that the new rank brings greater responsibility and urged them to continue working with zeal, integrity, and professionalism for the betterment of society and the prestige of the Police Department. The officers expressed their gratitude to the senior officers for their continuous guidance and support throughout their probationary period.

Similarly, Pipping ceremony of recently promoted Head constables as Assistant Sub Inspectors was also held at DPO Awantipora. The promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks by SSP Awantipora who expressed happiness over their promotion.

On the occasion, SSP Awantipora congratulated the promoted officers and advised them to remain committed towards their duties and ensure better public service. The promoted officers pledged to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm.

During the colourful ceremony, all the newly promoted Officers expressed their gratitude towards Police department for conferring their next ranks and timely up gradation.

Other senior officers of the Police district including Addl. SP Awantipora, SDPO Awantipora, SHO Awantipora were also present on the occasion and congratulate the promoted officers.
