Kupwara: The Indian Army’s Shakti Vijay Brigade, in collaboration with USHA Silai School, conducted a graduation ceremony at Tithwal to mark the completion of an online tailoring course for underprivileged women of the region.
Held from 28 July to 11 August 2025, the programme aimed to empower local women and create avenues for sustainable employment.
Twelve participants successfully completed the training, gaining essential skills for self-reliance and livelihood enhancement.
Mrs. Sanajan Prodhan, Chairperson FWO, Shakti Vijay Brigade, presented the certificates to the graduates and commended their dedication.
The initiative reflects the Army’s continued commitment to community development and women’s empowerment (Press Release).
