6th District Pulwama Yogasana Sports Championship Scheduled for November 26–27

Pulwama, J&K – The District Pulwama Yogasana Sports Association has announced that the 6th District Pulwama Yogasana Sports Championship 2025–26 will be held on 26th and 27th November 2025 at the Indoor Sports Hall, Bajwani Tral, Pulwama. The event will feature competitions for both men and women across multiple age categories: Sub Junior, Junior, Senior, Senior A, Senior B, and Senior C.

Organized under the authority of the J&K Yogasana Sports Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, the championship aims to provide a competitive platform for Yogasana athletes from across the Pulwama district. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and earn positions for upcoming state and national-level selections.

The championship will include a wide range of events for individual, pair, and group performances, including: Traditional Yogasana – Individual & Group, Forward Bend, Back Bend, Twisting Body, Hand Balance, Leg Balance, Supine Yogasana – Individual, Kalatmak Ekal Yogasana (Artistic – Single), Kalatmak Yugal Yogasana (Artistic & Rhythmic – Pair) and Kalatmak Samuha Yogasana (Artistic – Group).

Athletes may participate in up to four events, including team or group events. Participation requires submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate, Risk Certificate, latest passport-size photograph, and Aadhaar card copy. Entries must be submitted on official letterhead, signed and stamped by the respective coach and manager, by 25th November 2025.

All athletes and officials are required to adhere strictly to the Rules and Code of Points outlined by the Yogasana Sports Federation. A Yogasana Bharat ID card is mandatory for all participants, which can be generated online at www.yogasanabharat.com. The official rules and code of points can be accessed here.
