Awantipora, 03 December 2025: Awantipora Police, during a focused enforcement drive across the police district, have taken action against several vehicles found operating without the compulsory transfer of ownership following sale purchase.
Multiple checking teams were deployed at key locations. During the drive, a number of vehicles without updated ownership records were seized, and proceedings under the Motor Vehicles Act were initiated.
Awantipora Police urges all vehicle owners to promptly complete ownership transfer formalities after any sale purchase, cautioning that further enforcement drives will continue in the coming days.
