Tral, Pulwama: The Khelo India Thang-Ta Centre at Tral, Pulwama, has once again brought laurels to the region as seven of its trainees have been selected to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the upcoming 69th National School Games, scheduled to be held in New Delhi.

The selected players include Sumaira Ashiq, Rahidah Nazir, Masifa Mushtaq, Hammad Bashir, Nadeem Ahmad, Murtaza Iqbal Lone, and Arsalan Ahmad Lone. Their selection reflects the growing standard of training and dedication at the Khelo India Thang-Ta Centre, which has consistently produced promising talent in the indigenous martial art.

Officials and coaches associated with the centre expressed gratitude to the leadership and support system of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council for their continued encouragement. Special acknowledgment was extended to Ms. Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, J&K Sports Council; Ms. Anissa Nabi, Nodal Officer, Khelo India, JKSC; Mr. Javid-ul-Rehman, Divisional Sports Officer (Central), JKSC; and Ms. Nusrat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir, for their guidance and unwavering support.
