Axis Bank Opens 30th Branch in Kashmir

Srinagar, January 29, 2025: Axis Bank, one of the largest private sector banks in India, today inaugurated a new branch in Srinagar, J&K, further strengthening its presence in the region. The branch was inaugurated by Mushtaq Guroo, MLA, Chanapora, along with Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya, Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Hoteliers Club, in the presence of senior officials from Axis Bank.

Located in the Lal Nagar, Chanapora area of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, this new branch will offer a comprehensive suite of asset products and banking services, including personal and digital banking solutions, loan products (personal, gold, home, vehicle, working capital, term, etc.), and insurance offerings. The branch will cater to a diverse customer base comprising individuals, HNIs, universities, start-ups, large and mid-corporates, and retail businesses. This expansion reinforces Axis Bank’s commitment to financial inclusion and to supporting the region’s economic growth by delivering convenient, accessible, and customer-centric banking solutions.
