During the visit, the SSP inspected various logistical and security measures, including accommodation facilities, traffic management, deployment plans and emergency response mechanisms.

He emphasised the need for foolproof security, effective crowd management and smooth facilitation for the pilgrims, they said.

Dhama also visited the Domail Yatra track to assess ground-level preparations and directed officers to ensure all arrangements are put in place well in advance.

Officials said he stressed close coordination among all stakeholder agencies and called for a proactive approach to address any challenges.

The SSP was accompanied by senior police officers and officials from allied departments, who briefed him on the status of preparations.

He reiterated that all efforts are being made to ensure a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage and urged personnel to remain vigilant during the yatra.(SM)
