A threadbare discussion was held on security arrangements, deputation of examination staff, including Centre Superintendents, Invigilators and supporting personnel and the secure transportation and handling of examination material.

The DC directed the officers concerned to strengthen CCTV surveillance and ensure installation of jammers at examination centres as per prescribed guidelines for secure and transparent conduct of the examination.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Health, JPDCL, Police, Traffic and Fire and Emergency Services Departments to ensure timely arrangements, adequate manpower and close coordination for the safe and smooth conduct of the examination.

Rajesh Sharma stressed the need for strict adherence to prescribed guidelines and directed all departments concerned to ensure foolproof arrangements, maintaining utmost transparency and discipline throughout the examination process. He also emphasised coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to facilitate a conducive environment for candidates and ensure the examination is conducted in a fair and organised manner.

Pertinently, the re-examination will be conducted at two designated centres in the district — Government Degree College (Boys) Kathua and Army Public School, Janglote.

Among those present were Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahima Madan; ASP Sunil Kesar; Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Janglote (representative of the National Testing Agency) and other officers concerned.
