Tral, 18 August 2026: Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Pulwama, organized a stationery distribution drive among school students under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative.
The programme aimed to promote education, encourage regular school participation and provide essential learning materials to young students. During the drive, 93 stationery kits comprising school bags, colour pencils, drawing books, geometry boxes, pens and notebooks were distributed among girls enrolled in Government Upper Primary School Hajinar, Government Primary School Gulistan, Government Primary School Gujar Basti Gutru, Government Middle School Zisbal and Government Upper Primary School Gujar Basti Nargistan.
Chief Education Officer Pulwama, District Social Welfare Officer Pulwama and Zonal Education Officer Lurgam were present during the distribution camp.
Officials from the Sankalp Hub interacted with students and teachers and emphasized the vital role of education in building a progressive and empowered society.
They also highlighted the core message of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, stressing the importance of equal educational opportunities and nurturing the potential of every child (Press Release).
