The PDP Zonal Committee Tral strongly condemns the ₹6.80 electricity tariff hike by the Omar Abdullah-led NC Government, calling it a direct burden on poor and middle-class families already struggling with inflation and unemployment.
The government has not only increased the electricity burden but has also betrayed its election promise of providing 200 units of free electricity to the people. Instead of delivering on its promise, the NC Government is making electricity more expensive for ordinary households.
The people deserve relief, not broken promises and additional burdens.
PDP Tral demands the immediate rollback of the tariff hike and implementation of the promised 200 units of free electricity.
