Arfah Mushtaq, daughter of Mushtaq Ahmad Rather and a Class 9 student of Little Angels School Tral, has authored two books titled LIFE and WILD FLOWERS AT DUSK. While one book is a collection of short stories, the other is a collection of poetry.

Speaking to this correspondent, Arfa said that she has been writing continuously for the past several years and has now given her literary work the shape of two books. She expressed immense happiness over seeing her writings published in book form.

She said that her parents, family members, teachers and several other people encouraged and supported her throughout her literary journey.

The young author further said that she intends to write more books in the future.

Both books are available on Amazon.

Her father, Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, said that his daughter started writing at a very young age and expressed happiness over her achievement. He added that efforts would be made to publish all the literary material she has written over the years.

It is worth mentioning that the passion for writing books among schoolchildren from different areas of Sub-District Tral has been steadily growing, a development that is being viewed by literary enthusiasts as an encouraging step towards promoting reading and writing among the younger generation.
