Devsar (Kulgam) Dec 9: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Devsar Constituency Peerzada Ferzoze Ahmad Shah on Monday convened a review meeting with Rural Development Department (RDD) at Devsar.
Among others, Block development officer (BDO) Devsar who is also holding additional charge of Block Kund, Arif Ayaz Dar, Block development officer (BDO) Pahloo Humaira and others officials were present on the occasion.
He reviewed the progress achieved under different RDD schemes, including the status of works under MGNREGA, CAPEX budget, construction of PMAY-G houses, and Block Development Plans.
The meeting focused on building a strong connection between the public and local officials to ensure smooth and effective administration.
MLA Shah urged officials to stay connected with the people, listen to their concerns, and solve their problems quickly. He stressed the importance of being transparent, responsible, and responsive in their work to build trust with the community.
“Our goal is to ensure a government that works for the people,” Shah said. “We need to focus on community growth and make sure everyone benefits from better services. Every official must do their job well, and there will be zero tolerance for non-performance by any of the official in my constituency”, he added.
